NEW YORK Fathom Online, a search engine marketing company that specializes in keyword buying and campaign management, has named Matt McMahon vice president of media operations and analytics.

In the post, McMahon, 27, will oversee media planning, buying, research and analytics for the 1-year-old San Francisco-based company, which claims clients like Intel, Gymboree and Washington Mutual. He will manage a team of four media planners and campaign managers at the 16-person outfit.

The move reunites McMahon with Fathom founder and president Chris Churchill, to whom he will report.
