The California Office of Family Planning is reviewing its creative and media account, currently handled by Runyon, Saltzman & Einhorn. The budget is estimated at $40 million over three years.
Runyon, Sacramento, Calif., has handled the account for about three years. Its “Partnership for Responsible Parenting” campaign has aimed to curb teen pregnancy.
Several agencies will make presentations to the client through August. So far, Runyon and Asher & Partners, Los Angeles, are confirmed participants.
“We think it’s important work, and we intend to participate in the review,” said Runyon svp/principal Estelle Saltzman.
