NEW YORK Eyeblaster has hired traditional- and interactive-media veteran Bobbie Halfin as vice president of North American sales, the rich media technology company said.

In the newly created post, Halfin, 57, will oversee Eyeblaster’s relationships with existing customers, like Modem Media, Grey and Starcom, and new business. She will report to Gal Trifon, CEO of the New York-based company, which provides online advertisers and publishers with technology to create, deliver and manage ad formats.

Most recently, Halfin served for three years as managing director of sales and marketing for Meredith Interactive in New York, where she developed sponsorship and customer publishing strategies and the in-house sales team for Meredith Corp.’s
