NEW YORK Eyeblaster, a rich media technology company, has opened an office in San Francisco, its third new outpost in six months.

The Bay Area presence, which is meant to provide greater support and service to clients in the Northwest, follows the openings of Hamburg, Germany, and Chicago locations in May and June, respectively.

The New York-based company, which provides online advertisers and publishers with technology to create, deliver and manage ad formats, attributed the expansion to the growth in rich media advertising.
