Bernstein-Rein touted its retail experience to land RMS Networks’ ad account, but a strong relationship with a company board member also worked in favor of the Kansas City, Mo., shop.
RMS, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., creates television programming such as PharmaSee TV and BEVision for use in retail stores. RMS Network has televisions and programming in 2,300 stores in 49 U.S. states, including Planet Hollywood and Advance Auto Parts.
Billings have not been worked out, but Bernstein-Rein will create a “full blown” brand campaign for the company, which is expected to go public later this year, said Clair Keizer, a vice president and account director at the agency.
“They’re basically unknown,” he said.
