Expedia Goes With Fleishman-Hillard

BOSTON Expedia.com has tapped Omnicom's Fleishman-Hillard to handle its $1 million public relations business, sources said.

The final round of the review had included incumbent Edelman, Omnicom's Ketchum Public Relations and independent Waggener Edstrom.

Duties include all media relations for the online travel site. It is not clear which office of Fleishman-Hillard will lead the account. The Bellevue, Wash.-based client did not return calls. A spokesperson at Fleishman-Hillard declined comment.

Interpublic Group's Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif., handles Expedia's $65 million advertising account.
