After stints at Madison Avenue’s larger agencies, Bob Kantor is shifting his sights to smaller game, joining TSR Advertising.
A $40 million shop that styles itself as a youth-and-entertainment specialist, TSR handles Microsoft’s kid’s unit, Wham-o and Friendly’s. It was founded 25 years ago here as Towne Silverstein Rotter. Kantor will be co-chairman with Steve Rotter and hold a 50 percent stake. With the “T” and the “S” retired, a new name is expected.
Kantor, 42, left Lowe & Partners/SMS in January in a messy break with management.
