LOS ANGELES - It's party time for four Los Angeles-area agencies.
Event411.com, which launched a review for its $5-10 million account in February [Adweek, Feb. 8], has selected four agencies to handle its marketing communications efforts, according to company chairman and chief executive officer Steven Koltai.
Creative duties for the online event planning and coordinating Web site will be split between JSM+ Communications and WongDoody, both in Santa Monica, Calif.; media buying and planning goes to Western Initiative Media Worldwide, Los Angeles; and public relations duties are picked up by Fleishman-Hillard, also Los Angeles, said Koltai.
"Everyone is going to be working together in building an overall brand strategy," Koltai said about selecting two creative shops. "[WongDoody and JSM+] are very different, but very strong. We wanted that creative energy."
The shops will work together to create an overall image and positioning campaign for the Culver City, Calif.-based company.
"We've always been known for our strategic, media and Web capabilities," said JSM+ management supervisor Adam Michaelson. "But this creative win is a real feather in our cap."
