NEW YORK Euro RSCG said it has promoted Vanessa DiFebo to director of client service, effective immediately.

DiFebo, 37, has worked at the Havas-owned agency since 1995, when she began as an assistant account executive and rose through the ranks to her most recent position as group account director.

In her new role here, DiFebo will supervise a 100-person department and oversee account management staffing, recruitment and executive training programs. She continues to report to agency COO Annette Stover, who said in a statement, "As an 11-year veteran of our agency, Vanessa knows and embraces our agency culture. She has worked on many of our clients' businesses and is a natural leader. Our client service teams will greatly benefit from her experience and her leadership."

DiFebo will continue to manage the shop's ExxonMobil, Evian and Vichy accounts.

The director of client service position has been vacant at the agency for about 18 months.

Before joining Euro, DiFebo (whose sister Val DiFebo is president of Interpublic Group's Deutsch in New York) was a media planner at D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in New York, working on the Burger King and Procter & Gamble accounts.

Euro RSCG has 233 offices in 75 countries. Its other clients include Air France, Carrefour, Charles Schwab, Citigroup, Danone Group, Diageo, France Telecom, Jaguar, L'Oreal, LVMH Louis Vuitton, Pfizer, Reckitt-Benckiser, Sanofi-Aventis and Volvo.
