Marian Salzman and Ira Matathia were featured on the Today show on NBC last Tuesday in a segment about their new book, The Future of Men, written with Ann O’Reilly. Salzman and Matathia accompanied a megaphone-toting Al Roker, who roamed outside Rockefeller Center with a megaphone in search of übersexuals. … Sports-team mascots including Mr. Met good-naturedly pestered attendees at the opening reception of The One Club’s retrospective of ESPN advertising last Tuesday night. The club’s newly renovated space on East 26th Street in New York is displaying 20 years of the cable sports network’s advertising by Wieden + Kennedy, The Concept Farm and Ground Zero.
