It's the week you've been waiting for: The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch returns to CNBC tonight and will now run each weeknight at 10 p.m. The guest lineup this week sounds like a big improvement over porn stars and other jiggly types. Look for Donny to interview Robert Redford via satellite from the Sundance Film Festival. Among those who'll stop by the studio are Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear, David Schwimmer, Victoria Gotti, Star Jones, Dennis Leary, Michael J. Fox, Paula Abdul and John Leguizamo. ... Atlanta ad exec Gail Tassell was spotted on ABC's The Jane Pauley Show last week as the star of a segment on how to get married after 35. The never-married, 43-year-old founder and president of ad shop Acuity will review tapes sent in by eligible bachelors and report back to the show if and when she finds a suitable mate. "If I can't get a date this way, it's a lost cause," she says. ... Ron Berger of Euro RSCG held a screening at the Bryant Park Hotel screening room last Tuesday for his new movie, Ring of Fire: The Emile Griffith Story, now playing at the Sundance Film Festival. Among the attendees was actor Steven Schirripa, who plays Bobby "Bacala" Baccalieri on The Sopranos. "The reaction was terrific," said Berger, who headed to Park City last Thursday. "[Films] are enjoyable to do. They create a great buzz here in the agency." ... The funky Jeep Hurricane concept car (shown here), with its two 5.7-liter 335-HP V-8 engines, wasn't the only star at this month's Detroit Auto Show. TBWA\Chiat\Day's Rob Schwartz reports spotting an all-star team of advertising creatives at the event. They included: DDB's Lee Garfinkel, Team One's Chris Graves, Deutsch/LA's Eric Hirshberg, RPA's Larry Postaer and Schwartz's old boss, J. Walter Thompson's Tom Cordner. "I guess we're all on a mission to make the advertising as creative as the cars, and vice versa," says Schwartz.
