BOSTON McCarthy Mambro Bertino this week breaks a trio of spots touting ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games, the agency said.

The annual games feature events related to sporting dogs, lumberjacks, target sports and ATVs. Boston-based MMB crafted three humorous spots that present these sportsmen as superheroes. In “Timberman,” a man is trapped beneath a large tree. Suddenly Timberman, complete with cape, axe and chainsaw, appears and saws up the tree, saving the man. In “Skyboy,” a dog wearing a yellow cape saves a man from drowning.
