ATLANTA Eric Mower and Associates said it has elevated two key executives to partners: Matt Ferguson and Richard Skiermont.

Ferguson, 36, an account director at the Charlotte, N.C., office of the independent Syracuse, N.Y.-based shop, oversees the Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n' Biscuits and Nucor accounts. A former offensive guard for the Florida State University football team, Ferguson worked for PriceMcNabb in Charlotte, joining EMA when it bought PriceMcNabb in June 2004. He also worked in strategic marketing at the Walt Disney Co.

Skiermont, 43, creative director at the shop's Albany, N.Y., office, was part of the original staff when EMA opened the outpost 10 years ago. He has worked with clients like Eastman Kodak, Guinness Import Co., Troy Built tractors, Georgia-Pacific and the I Love New York tourism campaign.

"Richard has been a driving force in EMA's success since joined us in 1996, one month after opening the Capital region," said Eric Mower, the shop's chairman and CEO. "His superb work and collaboration with our clients and his co-workers continually result in exceptional outcomes."

The two additions give EMA a total of 31 partners. The partners help make the daily management and long-term planning decisions at the shop.

EMA has offices in the New York cities of Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester, in addition to offices in Charlotte and Atlanta. The shop employs more than 200 people and reported capitalized billings of $170 million last year.
