Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. has handed its $10 million media account to Empower MediaMarketing.
"We had been using a variety of different services," said Bob Spaulding, director of media services for the Golden, Colo.-based client. "In the interest of better operating efficiencies, I felt it was best to consolidate with [Empower]."
The bagel retailer's media duties had been handled by several shops. Empower has been working with Einstein/Noah's for the past year.
Next year's media plan for the company, which operates 540 units in 30 states, will include a variety of local media, database marketing and Internet activity.
