NEW YORK Eli Lilly has confirmed the company would no longer air the TV spot “Video Game” for its Strattera drug.

The Food and Drug Administration this week asked Eli Lilly to stop running the spot, in which a man goes through his daily routine hampered by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. (He arrives late to work, forgets his keys and misses an important deadline as the word “penalty” flashes on screen.)

The ad, created by Interpublic Group’s Foote Cone & Belding in New York, however, had already ended its media run a month ago, said Eli Lilly representative Jennifer Bunselmayer.
