SAN FRANCISCO Independent agency Eleven launched a campaign today for the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau. Themed “Only in San Francisco,” ads juxtapose images of the city such as a photo of people riding a cable car with a visual of a hippie standing next to a wildly decorated flower power bus.

The $1.2 million effort from the San Francisco shop includes a 30-second television spot, 10-second radio ads, print and outdoor. Broadcast ads will run on Bay Area television and radio stations, and print will appear in local publications including San Francisco magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Examiner.
