ATLANTA Initial sales on AMF Billiards’ Internet site, redesigned by Eisner Interactive, have exceeded expectations, the agency said.

The division of the Baltimore independent agency launched the site in early October as a way to market billiard tables directly to consumers without eliminating the company’s dealers. The latter are needed to deliver and install the product. The venue also enables dealers to establish pricing points at the local level.

The client, a division of AMF Bowling Worldwide, sold more than two dozen tables within the first month of operation, according to the agency.
