NEW YORK Eight O’clock Coffee is compiling a list of prospective creative agencies to handle its account, the client said.

Barbara Roth, president of the Montvale, N.J., client, is conducting the review with director of marketing David Allen.

In December, Gryphon Investors in San Francisco bought the brand from A&P for about $105 million.

“We’re not a national business as of yet,” Roth said. “But we will be and at some point will want a national campaign.”
