Gene Wise has joined public relations firm Edelman as a senior vice president for its public affairs and issues management practices in Los Angeles. His focus will be on campaign strategies for both corporate and political clients. Previously, Wise, 40, held the title of senior vice president for Goddard Claussen Porter Novelli, where he wrote, directed and produced ads for California ballot measures.
