Ed Davis has been elevated to executive vice president/chief financial officer of Arnold's headquarters office in Boston, the agency said Thursday.
Davis has been with Arnold for six months vp/finance in an office with 800 employees and billings pegged at more than $1 billion last year. He joined from Zentropy Partners, Cambridge, Mass., the ill-fated i-shop owned by the Interpublic Group of Cos.
Davis succeeds Charles Kiefer, who came to Arnold in 1992 when the agency acquired Boston's Cabot Communucations. Kiefer will remain affiliated with Arnold and consult with agency CEO Ed Eskandarian on tax issues, acquisitions and related financial matters.
At Arnold, Davis will oversee a 50-person financial department and work with Joe Pessolano, an executive vice president who serves as CFO of Arnold's worldwide agency network.
