Eastman to Oversee Brands at Ground Zero

LOS ANGELES Ground Zero said it has named Laura Eastman head of brand management, a new position.

Eastman, 35, joined the Marina del Rey, Calif., shop as brand director in 2000. She was part of the pitch team that won the State of California’s anti-smoking account. Eastman also heads up the brand team for the Atlantis Resort and is involved in new business.

In addition to having an increased focus on account service and overseeing seven employees in that discipline, Eastman’s responsibilities include hiring and training account personnel, said agency president Andrew Gledhill, adding that the shop is not currently looking to expand the department.
