Dunkin’ Donuts pulled out all the stops last week to celebrate the opening of its first store in Quincy, Mass., 50 years ago this month.
The site of the original store last week was outfitted for photo ops with gold-colored panels.
Back then, not only was the “world’s finest coffee” featured on the store front but so too was the promise of air conditioning.
Company founder Bill Rosenberg, 84, was lured from his Florida retirement home for interviews.
