BOSTON Duffy & Shanley this week unveils a TV campaign designed to promote Fox Sports Net New England’s telecasts of Connecticut Sun women’s professional basketball games.
Three 30-second commercials feature footage of star players Nykesha Sales, Rebecca Lobo and Shannon Johnson, as well as some offbeat “poetry” that describes the players’ skills. Each spot ends with the line, “You, my sister, you are the Sun.”
The effort from the independent shop in Providence, R.I., will run through the summer on Fox Sports Net and other southern New England stations.
