NEW YORK The Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper brands at Young & Rubicam here are shifting to the WPP Group shop’s San Francisco office, which already handles 7Up, another Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages product, the agency confirmed.

As a result, the San Francisco shop now handles all of Y&R’s Cadbury business.

Major media spending on Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper was around $75 million for the first 11 months of 2005 and about $100 million in 2004, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
