NEW YORK DoubleClick reported yesterday third-quarter revenue rose 8 percent to $81 million compared to $74.8 million in the year-ago period.

Q3 net income totaled $15.4 million, or 12 cents per share, up from $6.3 million, or 4 cents per share, in the year-earlier period, and $3.9 million, or 3 cents per share, in the second quarter.

Earnings benefited from a $7.1 million non-operating gain from DoubleClick’s sale of its 15 percent stake in AdLINK Internet Media AG, a German online ad network.
