NEW YORK DoubleClick said yesterday that it has purchased data management services company CSC Advanced Database Solutions in an all-cash deal.

The acquisition is meant to enhance the online ad technology company’s data management capabilities. New York-based DoubleClick said it plans to strengthen the link between the company’s data business and its e-mail, campaign management and analytics technology businesses to form a bundled service. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Twenty-two-year-old CSC builds, maintains and provides access to customer marketing databases in the retail, catalog, financial services, not-for-profit and publishing industries.
