Donovan Scores Biz-to-Biz Chores For Software Client

Concord Communications has tapped Donovan Group in Northborough, Mass., as its first ad agency after a review of undisclosed shops.
Billings on the business-to-business account are in the low seven figures, according to a client representative.
Concord, also in Northborough, develops network reporting software and Web-based products that measure the effectiveness of online investments. Companies using Concord's services include Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Chrysler, Dow Jones and Johnson & Johnson.
It was Donovan's "clear understanding of branding" and the issues Concord faces that put the agency over the top, said Jane Brewer, the client's marketing manager. They bring an "incredible creative firepower to the table," she added.
