John VanVleck has joined Doner in Southfield, Mich., as a senior vice president, brand planner working on the independent agency’s Sirius and Cox Communications accounts. With 15 years of brand planning experience, VanVleck most recently was a planning director at Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson, Detroit, working on the Buick and Honeywell accounts. Prior to McCann, he was a global brand manager at Coca-Cola in Atlanta, concentrating on visual identity development for the Sprite brand.
