CHICAGO The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing has tapped Doner to handle its co-op marketing account after a review, according to the shop.

The independent Southfield, Mich., agency will develop a national television campaign, expected this fall, that will “build awareness of the cable industry and its products” among consumers, according to a CTAM representative. The association likens itself to other industry organizations like the Milk Processors’ Board and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

“We are excited to be working with the CTAM Cable Marketing Co-op and look forward to executive strategies that will positively influence consumer perceptions of the industry and compel them to see cable in a whole new light,” said agency CEO Alan Kalter in a statement.
