DETROIT-Doner has added a vice president of marketing strategy at its Cleveland office.

Elizabeth Chiarucci most recently was vice president of marketing at AmericanGreetings.com, a Doner client, where she oversaw advertising, promotions and the membership program. Before that she was a vice president and account supervisor for Leo Burnett, Chicago.

Chiarucci will initially focus on clients serviced out of Cleveland, but could eventually be called to work with accounts out of Doner’s Southfield, Mich., headquarters, said David DeMuth, executive vice president and general manager of Doner in Cleveland.

Cleveland clients includeDuPont, Third Federal Savings and Loan, and MTD, maker of outdoor power equipment including the Yard-Man line.

While DeMuth will continue to oversee strategy development for all clients, Chiarucci will assume some of the initial strategic planning duties he previously handled.
