Media Shop Wants More Alliances With Independent Agencies
CHICAGO–CIA Medianetwork, having won a $10 million broadcast alliance with Doe-Anderson, sees a growing opportunity among independent shops seeking noncompetitive media clout.
“I would like to see CIA Medianetwork do more of this,” said Marge Navolio, president of the Chicago media shop.
CIA Medianetwork won the Louisville, Ky., agency’s broadcast account following a review of four agencies. The incumbent, Carat Chicago, was not invited to participate. The other contenders were not identified.
“We were impressed by [CIA’s] service for our retail clients,” said Jim Ensign, Doe-Anderson’s director of media.
