NEW YORK Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, a division of the Walt Disney Co., has appointed la comunidad its Hispanic creative agency, according to sources.

Neither the client nor the Miami agency could be reached for comment.

The Disney division began its review in September after having worked with Chicago-based Lapiz, the incumbent in the review, since 1998. The third finalist was New York-based The Vidal Partnership.

Grupo Gallegos of Long Beach, Calif., was a participant during the initial stages of the review, but eventually the shop withdrew.
