NEW YORK Ten-year Digitas veteran Richelle Parham has been promoted to vice president, general manager of the digital- and direct-marketing shop's Chicago office.
Parham, 37, fills the post vacated by Mike Marasco at the beginning of this month, assuming control over finance, staffing, human resources, technology and facilities. She will also help drive key client relationships and business development at the Midwest outpost, which handles clients like Best Buy and Allstate.
She previously was based at Digitas in Boston, where she most recently oversaw the company's relationship with InterContinental Hotels Group. Beth Maclaren will take on that role. During Parham's tenure at the independent agency, she also has worked on Bayer Pharmaceuticals, AT&T Wireless and American Express.
This is the third high-level recruit from Digitas' Boston headquarters to join the Midwest office in five months. Last fall, Torrence Boone and John Gonnella moved from New England to Chicago to become managing director and executive creative director, respectively. Parham will report to Boone.
