BOSTON Joe McCambley, global chief creative officer of Digitas, is leaving the independent marketing shop next week for a post at AOL Time Warner, the agency said.

McCambley will become an svp at the Dulles, Va., company’s AOL Studio division, where he will be responsible for all creative work supporting AOL’s user interface, a Digitas representative said. McCambley and AOL officials could not be reached for comment.

McCambley will not immediately be replaced at Digitas. Rather, his duties will be split among five senior CDs: Steve Lynch, Steve Olderman, Mark Beeching, Mark Frankel and Chip Reingold, the rep said.
