BOSTON Digitas said it has enlisted Rachel Power as vice president and director of account planning on its AARP and Home Depot assignments.

She succeeds Nancy Snow-Villa at the independent marketing agency from Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Wenham, Mass., where she had worked on the XM Satellite Radio business. (XM’s creative assignment left Mullen this summer, though the shop retains media chores.)

“Rachel possesses a solid understanding of branding, and how to work with creative and account teams to bring consumer insights to life,” said Jeff Flemings, svp of account planning at Digitas.
