Global Brand Marketing Inc., a new company founded earlier this year to market footwear under the Diesel brand, has begun an agency review to find a shop to create ads for the U.S. and overseas market.
Killick Datta, chairman and chief executive officer of the Santa Barbara, Calif.-based company, said he has selected six Los Angeles-area agencies to compete for the account and will make a decision in the next few weeks.
“It’s an informal review,” said Datta, a former executive with Nike, L.A.
