LOS ANGELES Interpublic Group’s Deutsch/LA said it has landed creative and media duties for real-estate valuation startup Zillow.com.

Mike Sheldon, agency president, said the shop would initially provide brand positioning and strategic counsel as Zillow moves past its beta testing phase. The budget has not been determined. On the site, the client bills itself as providing, “Your edge in real estate.”

The Seattle-based client offers detailed data and valuation information on 67 million American homes.

In a statement, Spencer Rascoff, Zillow’s vice president of marketing and chief financial officer, lauded Deutsch’s “strategic insights and passion for our business are unparalleled.”
