NEW YORK Interpublic Group’s Deutsch has joined the ConAgra agency roster, landing the company’s Orville Redenbacher popcorn brand after a review, sources said.

Deutsch in New York defeated MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, also in New York, for the estimated $10 million account, twice what the client spent on the brand in 2003, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus. Final presentations were made in mid-March.

The Edina, Minn.-based client had been working with independent Fogarty Klein Monroe in Houston on projects, but that shop was cut in an earlier round.
