Sources: Agency Exits After its Spec Work is Shown to HHCC
BOSTON–Deutsch on Friday pulled out of the review for Lycos Network’s $25 million advertising account, the agency confirmed.
New York-based Deutsch and the only other finalist, Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos here made final presentations two weeks ago; a decision was due shortly after.
It is believed that Deutsch informed Lycos on Friday that it was no longer interested in pursuing the business.
Deutsch CEO Donny Deutsch confirmed the lastest development, saying, “We’re uncomfortable with the process and we’ve told Lycos not to consider us a contender any longer.”
