The International Institute of Boston has tapped Deutsch to boost visits to its Dreams of Freedom Museum.

The Institute is a nonprofit operation that provides immigrants with educational, professional and cultural services. The museum, which opened last August, serves as an interactive tribute to Boston’s rich immigrant heritage, but has had trouble attracting the 1,000 visitors per day it is designed to handle. Its daily visitor count was only about 40 when Deutsch’s Boston office approached the museum earlier this year.

To generate publicity and lure residents and tourists alike, Deutsch will create a multifaceted pro bono campaign set to break in June with print ads running in publications such as Boston Magazine.
