NEW YORK Denny's restaurant chain said Monday it is breaking a national campaign that stars its own employees.
The first 30-second and 15-second spots, via Publicis Mid America in Dallas, feature Liz Davis, a 10-year staffer who works at what Denny's says is its busiest location in the country, located in Las Vegas. The spot breaks Monday across the country.
The campaign, with the umbrella theme "Our Denny's," also introduces a new tagline, "We're cooking now." The effort also features the reprise of Denny's "Three complete breakfasts," which are offered for $4.99.
"We are proud to feature Denny's employees [and to] offer a personal and believable look inside the restaurant," Margaret Jenkins, CMO for Denny's, Spartanburg, S.C., said in a statement. "[The campaign] will highlight our great-tasting food and excellent value and reinforce why Denny's is the nation's leading provider of breakfast meals."
