Out-of-home ads– including three vertical billboards in Times Square–will be the sole vehicle for introducing a new Web site called Angryman.com.
Simple and uncluttered, the outdoor ads, which launched this month, display the site’s name (the dot is a red “frowny” face) and the tagline: “Don’t get mad, get angry.”
“Angryman.com is the central place on the Web to vote and vent on practically every conceivable issue,” said Michael Arnold, director of marketing, “from presidential politics to pro golf, from opera to Oprah.”
Poll questions on a recent day included: “Has Rudy Giuliani really changed his ways?” and “Does God exist?”
Along with outdoor, the New York dot-com will place its ads in subways and on train platforms.
