Dell Computer Corp. has put its estimated $150 million media account in play and has reached out to outside shops with an RFP, sources said.

Dell recently ended its relationship with roster shop BBDO in New York, which handled creative and media duties on the corporate image side of the business, sources said. Lowe Lintas & Partners, here, handles creative and media duties on the retail side, and is expected to participate in the review.

It is unclear what will happen with BBDO’s creative assignment.
