CHICAGO John Deere tapped Draft to handle a promotions project for its commercial and consumer equipment division following a creative pitch against undisclosed contenders, according to the agency.
"Draft is very well known for its skills in retail and promotion," said Robert Nelson, promotions manager at Raleigh, N.C.-based John Deere, in a statement. "We're pleased to be working with them and look forward to benefiting from their strategic experience and creative contributions to our promotion efforts."
The business will be handled out of the Interpublic Group agency's Chicago office. There was no incumbent on the account; the client had used various shops on a project basis. John Deere's lead advertising agency is IPG sibling Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago.
