CHICAGO Omnicom Group’s DDB here has hired former Saturday Night Live writer Matt Piedmont as an executive producer on Anheuser-Busch’s Web entertainment venture, Bud.tv.
Piedmont worked as a writer and producer on the venerable NBC sketch comedy show from 1996 to 2002. Since leaving, he has helped write films starring alumni of the show, including Joe Dirt, which featured David Spade, and Corky Romano, which starred Chris Kattan. He is also an executive consulting producer on Spade’s Comedy Central vehicle, The ShowBiz Show.
