CHICAGO Omnicom’s DDB said it has promoted Bob Scarpelli to worldwide chief creative officer, a new position at the agency network. Scarpelli, 52, and U.S. chief creative officer since 2000, will remain chairman of DDB in Chicago. There is no immediate plan to name a successor for the U.S. chief creative officer post.



Revlon to Kaplan Thaler, Carat

NEW YORK Publicis Groupe’s The Kaplan Thaler Group won creative duties on the $125 million Revlon cosmetics brand, as well as the launch later this year of the client’s new Flair fragrance, sources said.
