NEW YORK DDB New York has laid off 21 staffers, about 6 percent of the office’s total, “across all disciplines,” a representative for the agency confirmed. Prior to the cut, the shop had 325 employees in New York.

The lay-offs were attributed to cost-cutting, with DDB needing to “align costs with revenues, given the poor state of the economy,” the representative said. The agency does not anticipate further staffing cuts.
