LOS ANGELES – Ken Kaess, president of DDB Needham here, will move to DDB’s New York office to run one of three business units at the shop, sources said last week. Kaess is expected to run a service unit dedicated to Amtrak and Seagram, a division that was to be run by executive vp Kent DeFelice, who died unexpectedly earlier this year. Kaess could not be reached.
