DALLAS DDB Dallas and Chicago have produced two image spots for Nokia that are slated to run during the NCAA's March basketball tournament, the client confirmed.

DDB competed for the project last summer in a review against Omnicom sibling GSD&M in Austin, Texas, and incumbent The Richards Group in Dallas. DDB declined comment.

A Nokia spokesperson, who did not offer specifics on the upcoming spots, said the ads are unrelated to the review Nokia is currently holding for creative duties on its $35 million account, in which DDB is a finalist.

The cell phone manufacturer heard final presentations yesterday from Grey Global Group's Grey at the shop's New York offices and will hear presentations from DDB today at that agency's Chicago office, sources said.

Nokia, with regional headquarters in Irving, Texas, last week invited Interpublic Group's Temerlin McClain back into the review, sources said. The Irving, Texas, agency will present next week, sources said.
