CHICAGO DDB here laid off about 15 positions, or about 3 percent of its staff, according to an agency representative.

The personnel cuts were made to align staffing with needs, according to the representative. They affected all departments, but senior-level positions were not affected, she said.

In June, the shop cut about 5 percent of its staff, or about 25 positions, in a bid to align revenue with costs.

The agency counts McDonald’s and Anhueser-Busch among its clients, but it recently lost creative duties on Alltel’s $100 million account
